City of Antioch Water

The City of Antioch Water provides water for about 113,061 residents living in the Antioch area. Established in 1849, the Antioch City Water Department collects water from surface water sources by purchase of untreated water from Contra Costa Water District (CCWD), which is surface water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, treats it in a City-owned treatment plant and delivers it to customers through the City’s distribution pipes. The City is also able to pump directly from the San Joaquin River or purchase treated water from CCWD.

At WaterZen, we review these reports and make the information available, in a concise, straightforward, and easy-to-understand way.
